Shifting Your Perspective

NOTHING – and I mean NOTHING – holds the potential to quickly change your life than does changing your perception of it!  
 
The way we see the world creates our reality; it is 100 percent possible to change our reality by changing our perception. 
 
When things don’t go as planned, rather than focusing on all that’s “wrong” or all that didn’t go “right, I ask myself: “What’s right about this? What can I learn from this? How can I grow from this? 
 
My perspective immediately shifts from one of suffering and resistance (victim role) to a feeling of empowerment. This is a growth-oriented mindset. It allows me to learn and move on without creating so much pain and suffering. 
 
If I don’t change my perspective about the “negative” events in my life, I open myself up to creating and attracting more negativity.  
 
When you change your perspective, the same events that could have led to so much agony, resistance, and failure now work to your benefit. They happen FOR you, instead of TO you.Focusing on what’s right will shift everything. When you transition from being a victim of circumstance into a mindset of growth and empowerment, your life will transform!   
The next time something doesn’t go your way, instead of focusing on all that’s wrong, ask yourself: “What’s right about this? What can I learn from this?” This will immediately move you from suffering and resistance into more ease, empowerment, and liberation.  
 
Shifting your perspective moves the body out of “fight or flight” and chronic stress mode. This explains why two people can have similar potentially stressful circumstances and one thinks it’s no big deal, while the other is having a full-blown panic attack. It’s ALL about perspective! 

The next time you find yourself getting worked up over something, try it! You’ll be amazed by how quickly your body shifts from stress and panic to ease and flow. 
 
Change your perspective; change your life!
