My perspective on alcohol might not win me a popularity contest, but that isn’t my goal. My objective is to help you become the best version of yourself, and I genuinely believe that regular alcohol consumption hinders that process.

When we consume carbohydrates or sugars, the body breaks them down as glucose. Glucose moves from the GI into the bloodstream, which signals the pancreas to secrete insulin. Insulin shuttles the glucose into muscle tissue, the liver, and cells where it can be used to fuel the body.

FACT: when it comes to improving your health, very few factors are more important than GUT HEALTH. Sadly, most of the population has very poor digestion which leads to gut issues and inflammation. The standard American diet does a fantastic job irritating and inflaming the gut.
What’s even worse is the solution (popping a couple antacids or prescription medicines) masks the problem, eventually making it worse. Even more devastating, most people are totally unaware just HOW much less-than-stellar digestion impacts their sleep, mood, mental and emotional states, energy, hormones, skin, and overall health.
