Did you know that as you age, your metabolism doesn’t actually slow down? Studies show that metabolic rate stays the same from age 20-60. It can drop off after 60 if muscle mass decreases. Contrary to the common misconception that metabolism slows with age, it adjusts to factors like changes in muscle mass rather than a simple slowdown. Instead, it adjusts to your body becoming more toxic, inflamed, and stressed.
